A valid TLS/SSL certificate has been installed on the Server host machine and Server is configured if TLS/SSL enabled.
The Alteryx Service is currently running under a service account that is not a member of the local Administrators group. In order for the service to successfully register the required HTTP/S URL reservations, the service account must have administrative privileges.
On the Server UI host machine:
-
Open Computer Management and Press Windows + R, type compmgmt.msc, and press Enter.
-
Go to Local Users and Groups in the left pane, expand "Local Users and Groups" and click on "Groups"
-
Open the Administrators group In the right pane, double-click on "Administrators"
-
Click "Add…" and then enter the username or service account (e.g. DOMAIN\svc_alteryx) being used as the Log On As user for AlteryxService.
-
Click "Check Names" to validate. If it validates successfully, click OK. Close out of Computer Management.
-
Attempt to start the service again.
