When user attempts to start Alteryx Server service, it fails with the error:

There was an error starting the Alteryx Service:
Embedded Mongo Service failed to start in a timely fashion, exiting

Alteryx server service failed to start with the error:

There was an error starting the Alteryx Service:
Embedded Mongo Service failed to start in a timely fashion, exiting

AlteryxServiceLog.log records the error message.

Mongo Daemon failed to read credentials, filename must be non-empty, path must exist and be readable

Embedded MongoDB is used.

Two files are missed from MongoDB persistence folder for Embedded MongoDB:

1. ASCredentials.bin
2. ASMongoDBVersion.bin

Restore ASCredentials.bin and ASMongoDBVersion.bin from the latest backup.
