the error of, "An Unhandled Exception occurred. A previous action my not have completed successfully," displays when attempting to open Alteryx Designer:

"An Unhandled Exception occurred. A previous action may not have completed successfully," displays when attempting to open Alteryx Designer. Designer does not open and the application and error messaging closes.

Designer 2022.1

Updating DCM settings may have resulted in the experience where the error messaging is displayed and Designer fails to open.

1. close Alteryx and error messaging if still open
2. Navigate to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Alteryx
3. delete the following files 
   1. Dcm.22.sqlite
   2. dcmSecrets.4.sqlcipher
   3. 
4. open Alteryx and re-establish connections by syncing with server / re-creating connections.
