Summary
The Assisted Modeling tool crashes when starting the configuration.
Description

Clicking on the Start Assisted Modeling button in the Assisted Modeling tool displays a blank screen with the following error:

  
There seems to be an issue with the Assisted Modeling tool. You will need to close and relaunch.

    • Version(s): All
  • Alteryx Intelligence Suite
Cause

The Assisted Modeling tool cannot load if there are Python packages that the tool uses in user site-packages.

Resolution

If you have Python packages in c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\python\pythonXX\site-packages, please rename the "site-packages" folder to "site-packages_old" for example before you run Assisted Modeling tool.
