Summary

When running a workflow, the Designer throws the message: "The workflow contains unlicensed tools"

Environment

When ruining a workflow, the Designer throws the message:

Analytic App Error(s) The workflow contains unlicensed tools

Alteryx Designer
- All versions

Cause

Invalid license key or product unlicensed.

Resolution

1. Open Designer and got to Options > Manage Licenses
2. Click Activate New License
3. Enter your email and a valid license key
4. Click on "Activate."
