Description

Running the workflow fails with the following error:

Workflow was Cancelled by Properties Setting

Issue
A workflow does not complete, and is instead cancelled with errors.
Environment
Alteryx Designer
  • All
Cause

This error occurs when the “Cancel Running Workflow on Error” option is selected on the Workflow – Configuration > Runtime tab.

Note: This is really a warning/message. The underlying error or conversion issue that caused the workflow to cancel must be addressed.
 

Resolution
This setting is explicitly set if you want to stop the workflow from continuing if errors occur. Please uncheck only if you want to change how the workflow should proceed after an error is encountered.
