Summary
Issue
The following error occurs when trying to start the AlteryxService from Task Manager, and nothing happens when attempting to start it by running all the way through the Alteryx System Settings.
The operation could not be completed. The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.
Environment
- Alteryx Server
- All versions
- Alteryx Designer with Scheduler
- All versions
Cause
Resolution
- Navigate to Windows Services
- Right-click on AlteryxService and choose Properties
- Change Startup Type from Disabled to Automatic (Delayed Start)
